If I could give this place six stars I would, the food is unbelievable we had a reservation for 5pm. This place is so busy to the point that we did not sit down till 5: 45pm. The blackened salmon is very good. There's steak is not their favorite but it's my favorite. Seafood Tower is awesome. Will go back in the future

Amazing!!! I loved everything about this place. The staff was attentive, friendly and prompt. The decor. The food was exquisite. No complaints at all. The waitress suggested how awesome the grilled octopus was and let me tell you she did not lie. I hate octopus but it was amazing. The chef came out to thank us for loving his dish. He was so awesome and down to earth. He connected to our table like if we knew each other for years. I ordered the steak topped with crab meat and the steak was just perfection. From the perfect sear to the seasonings and tenderness. But dont get me started on the mash potatoes, whew. He definitely cooked with love. I just kept saying who granny is back there. Lol But than he came out and I was oh ok I see you. I will definitely be back. (Forgot to take pic of grilled octopus and desert)

My grandmother and I visited Doc’s Oyster House on a Saturday evening, and the atmosphere was lively and bustling. The place was packed, and the host let us know they were fully booked for the evening. She mentioned that seating at the bar was first-come, first-served, but didn’t tell us there was a second-floor bar as well. I suspect she assumed we’d been there before—but it was actually our first visit. We initially found one open seat at the first-floor bar. My grandmother sat down while I stood, hoping for another seat to open up. Luckily, the bartender downstairs mentioned that there was also a bar on the second floor where we might find seating with no wait. We went upstairs, and to our surprise, the second-floor bar was completely empty—perfect for us to sit together. Upstairs, we were served by Harry, an attentive, kind, and knowledgeable young bartender. He made me a beautiful mocktail (wish I remembered the name!) and took great care of us throughout the evening. My grandmother enjoyed a Moscato di Asti, followed by the Red Snapper, which she found a little spicy but still delicious. I ordered the Branzino. While the fish was cooked well, it was on the dry side, and the quinoa could have used more of the white sauce it came with—but once I asked for extra sauce, it was much better. The second-floor atmosphere was noticeably calmer than the bustling first floor, which made for a more relaxed dining experience. Overall, despite the initial seating mix-up, we had a very good evening. Harry’s service was a highlight, and we both agreed we would definitely return to Doc’s Oyster House again.

Great service, great drinks, and great food. Made a reservation at 4pm. This worked out well because the restaurant space was not busy and it made for a great experience for my wife and I.

Reserved this place after watching Mark’s video. Food was exceptionally good. Super fresh seafood, great service and ambience. I really loved the grilled oyster with champagne sauce. We also ordered flounder and Halibut. Halibut melted in my mouth. It was so soft and tender. Ended our dinner with tiramisu which was great as well.

We’ve been to Dock’s Oyster House on multiple occasions (every time we visit Atlantic City) and was never able to get there early enough for Happy Hour! I made sure we arrived 45min early, and sure enough, the line started to form around 3:45pm! It was well worth the wait. The vibe at the bar was amazing! The bartender was great and the food is always excellent! Definitely check it out!

Located in the mid town area of Atlantic City, Docks Oyster House is an iconic fixture in which their service dates back to 1897. They offer valet parking and I highly recommend having a reservation. They are well known for an extensive daily happy hour from 4-6 with half priced apps in the bar. The building is well maintained and the vibe inside is both elegant and timeless. Dress is casual, but men are asked to not wear hats within the dining room area. The service was excellent (hostess, servers, food runners, and bus team). They have quite an extensive drink/wine menu and they do offer a few mocktail options. We enjoyed various oysters: The Cape May Salts and Brigantine Salt as well as the Champagne Leek and Wasabi Crusted, which were all delicious. I enjoyed a lavender lemon infused mocktail which was not overly sweet and refreshing. For dinner we ordered the Crabmeat Sautee and the Pan Roasted Bronzino. Both dishes had an amazing pairing of fresh vegetables, herbs, sauces, and flavor. We were too full for dessert but the few I did see during our visit looked amazing. Overall, we had a fabulous experience here and will be returning in the near future.

This place had great reviews and was pleasantly surprised that I was able to get a reservation last minute. They served us some bread to start out and it was warm and delicious. Toasty on the outside and fluffy on the inside. We tried out a variety of the oysters, fried calamari, and grilled octopus and they all tasted so fresh. The calamari especially was light and crispy! For the entrees we had their special of the day halibut and the flounder with crabmeat. Overall, the food was great quality. Our server was amazing and attended to all of our needs. There’s plenty of street parking around the restaurant. They also had a live pianist which was nice. It was cutely decorated as well! . Would love to try this place out for their happy hour menu
